Fave This, Like That: Summertime Samples

In my line of work I come across a lot of skin care products. If I'm not careful, my bedroom can end up looking like a Sephora counter on bath salts. I do a fairly good job of purging what doesn't work and giving away what isn't designed for me. Once in a pink moon, I'll get a sample of a product that ultimately ends up becoming a part of my already stacked regimen. The products listed below all started out as samples but worked their way to being starters on my skin care squad. Sunday Riley Tidal Enzyme Water Cream

Tidal is my favorite night cream. It's a hyaluronic acid-packed water cream that exfoliates with papaya enzymes & brightens hyperpiguentaion with alpha-arbutin all while plumping the skin with moisture. I love slathering it on after a good sheet mask.     

Dr Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Moisture Cushion

The newest addition to my water-cream moisturizer collection. As a life-long member of Team Oily I'm always on the lookout for lightweight moisturizers that can give me the hydration my skin needs with none of the heft of a standard cream or lotion. This cushion moisturizer hydrates with time-released hyaluronic acid so my skin feels hydrated all day but doesn't become too shiny or greasy. We'll be rocking together all summer long

As an esthetician I don't get to wear fragrances very often. When I do get to smell extra good, I love perfumes that are light, floral, but with a bit of depth. Si by Armani smells like it was made just for me; airy, light, not too sweet, with a hint of citrus & Blackcurrant. It instantly lifts my mood & I'd wear it every day if I could.

Coloured Raine Matte Lip Paint in Cherry Blossom

Coloured Raine's Cherry Blossom Matte Lip Paint has been my go-to red lip for two years. It's a classic blue-based red & the formula manages to deliver high-impact color without drying out lips. Strangers have stopped me in the street to ask about this lip. There's a record-breaking selfie on my IG right now in this lip. I purposely don't wear this on first dates. If I'm trying to make a statement without saying a word, I'm putting on Cherry Blossom. I own four other colors of these lip paints & Coloured Raine has become one of my favorite makeup brands.
